Tamarindo
Tamarindo is Guanacaste’s most famous beach town, surf, nightlife, restaurants, and an international community that never sits still.
Guanacaste’s best-known beach town. Tamarindo is the coast’s hub, an internationally recognized surf town with a diverse restaurant scene from high-end to surfer casual, over 40 stores, 22 bars and clubs, and some 200 places to stay from luxury hotels to beachfront hostels. It’s the transportation hub of the coast, with every service a visitor needs: tours, car rentals, banks and ATMs, grocery and liquor stores, pharmacies and medical centers, yoga studios, gyms and language schools. The busiest and most developed of our areas, and the easiest soft landing.
