Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This policy explains how Costa Rica Vision uses cookies and similar technologies on costaricavision.com and how you can control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or phone when you visit. They help the site work, remember choices you have made and show the site owner how the site is being used.

Cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary. WordPress, the software this site runs on, uses cookies to keep the site secure and working. These include cookies that remember a logged-in session and protect forms against abuse. The site cannot function properly without some of these.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site, which pages they read and how they found us. This information is collected in aggregate form and helps us improve the site.
  • Advertising and social media. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how our advertising on Facebook and Instagram performs and to show ads to people who have visited the site.

We do not sell personal information collected through cookies.

Your choices

Most web browsers let you view, block and delete cookies through their settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and control how Meta uses your information through your Facebook ad settings. Blocking some cookies may change how parts of this site work.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its date.
